Iowa ARNP Fluoro Training

Starting January 12, 2015, Iowa requires all Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) who supervise the use of fluoroscopic equipment to have the appropriate education and continued annual radiological safety updates.  The Basic Training Program from FluoroSafety meets both the initial training and annual training requirements for ARNPs in Iowa.  The Basic Training Program provides:

  • Radiation safety including, but not limited to, time, dose, distance, shielding and the effects of radiation as required by the State of Iowa
  • A certificate of completion sufficient for documentation as required by the State of Iowa
  • Satisfies both the initial and annual training requirements for ARNPs

Those completing this course may claim up to 4 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit.  In addition, participants in this activity may claim Category 1 Professional Development credit for maintenance of their ARNP certification. All FluoroSafety courses can be taken at your convenience from any computer or tablet with internet access
