Technical requirements

We pride ourselves on content that can be viewed on nearly any device, including PC, Mac, tablets, and smartphones.  Educational activities from FluoroSafety are image-rich and offer optional narration.  We recommend a minimum of 10 Mbps broadband internet for standard computers and 4G LTE on mobile devices for the best viewing experience.   Listed below are recommended hardware and software requirements for viewing FluoroSafety course content.  Just because your combination isn’t on our list does’t mean it won’t work, but if you have trouble try one of our recommended hardware/software combinations.

Windows:

  • Intel Core Series Processor, 2.5 GHz or faster
  • At least 4 GB of RAM
  • Microsoft Windows 7 or newer
  • Browser:
    • Internet Explorer 11.0 or later
    • Microsoft Edge
    • FireFox 35.0 or later
    • Google Chrome 40.0 or later
    • Adobe Flash Player 11 or later is recommended for the best viewing experience
 Macintosh:

  • Intel Core Series Processor, 2.5 GHz or better
  • At least 4 GB of RAM
  • Apple OS X 10.8 or later
  • Browser:
    • Safari 9.0 or later
    • Google Chrome 40.0 or later
    • Adobe Flash Player 11 or later is recommended for the best viewing experience
Mobile:

  • Apple iPad 4 or later (iOS 10 and above)
  • Apple iPhone 4s or later (iOS 10 and above)
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE or WiFi
  • Samsung Galaxy, Kindle Fire, Microsoft Surface, and other devices that support HTML5, however, not all devices have been extensively tested
